28 April - Martin Linton MP shared his views on the show saying "As the MP for Balham I'm delighted to hear the Balham & Tooting show is back in business and I hope everyone puts a big red circel round the 6th of July in their diaries.  I thought it was a great shame when the Council scrapped the borough show and we should all be grateful to the Balham & Tooting Show Committee for getting things moving again".

30 April - Sadiq Khan MP endorsed the show by saying "Balham and Tooting is a fantastic place to live, work, and play.  Our diversity is our strength and our community spiriti is the envy for the rest of the country.  the Balham and Tooting Show is a great way of demonstrating our community at it's best.  I am very excited about this year's show, which I'm sure will be a massive success.  To stage an event like this takes a lot of dedication and support.  All those involved - local organisers, volunteers and businesses - deserve a big thank you from our community.  Hope to see you there!".
